Welpr LLC ("Welpr," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Welpr website located at `welpr.com` (the "Website") and the Welpr mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect information when you use our Website or App.

By using the Website or App, you agree to this Privacy Policy.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to:
- the Welpr marketing website
- the Welpr mobile application
- related communications and support interactions

This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites, services, or apps that we do not control, even if we link to them.

2. Information We Collect

a. Information collected on the Website
The Website is primarily a marketing site. We do not currently offer user accounts on the Website.

Depending on how you interact with the Website, we may collect:
- contact information you choose to provide, such as your email address and any other details you submit through forms, signups, or direct communications
- basic analytics and usage information, such as page views, referring pages, device or browser information, and similar website traffic metrics
- limited technical information automatically sent by your browser or device, such as IP address, browser type, and device information

b. Information collected in the App
When you use the App, we may collect:
- account information, such as your email address and sign-in method
- profile and onboarding information, such as the preferences and saved products you choose to share or store
- photos you capture or upload for scanning, including product photos and ingredient label images
- support communications, such as category, subject, message, and reply email
- scan feedback or issue reports you choose to submit
- subscription and purchase-related status information needed to manage paid access

We do not currently require your name to create an account in the App.

c. Information collected automatically in the App
When you use the App, we may automatically collect:
- app interaction data, such as app opens and screen views
- device and app information, such as operating system, platform, app version, and build information
- technical usage data, such as browser type where applicable, device identifiers, IP address, and general location derived from IP address at the city or state level
- crash and error data used to diagnose bugs and improve stability
- account and session identifiers used to keep you signed in and connect activity to your account

d. Subscription and purchase information
If you subscribe to paid features in the App, we receive subscription-related information from Apple, Google, and our subscription management providers. This may include plan type, entitlement status, renewal status, restore events, and purchase timing information.

We do not collect or store your full payment card number.

e. Sensitive and health-related information
We do not currently ask for medical, reproductive, or other sensitive health information as part of App onboarding.

We do not require you to provide medical or sensitive health information to use the Website or App. If you choose to share health-related information with us, that is voluntary and will be used only to provide or personalize the relevant parts of the service you request.

If you choose to include sensitive information in a support message, feedback form, or other free-form submission, you are choosing to provide that information to us.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information we collect to:
- operate, maintain, and improve the Website and App
- respond to Website inquiries, signups, and other communications
- create and manage App accounts
- authenticate users and keep them signed in
- process scans, analyze ingredient label images, and save scan history
- personalize parts of the App based on non-sensitive preferences you choose to share
- provide subscriptions, restore purchases, and verify paid access
- respond to support requests, feedback, and inquiries
- send service-related updates and administrative messages
- monitor usage, debug issues, prevent abuse, and improve reliability

4. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your personal information with third parties for their own advertising purposes.

We may share information with:
- service providers that help us operate the Website or App
- analytics, hosting, infrastructure, storage, authentication, customer support, subscription, and error-reporting providers
- Apple or Google when needed to process in-app subscriptions and restore purchases
- affiliate or referral partners when you click outbound links or retailer links in the Website or App
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other third parties when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or security
- a buyer, successor, or affiliate involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or part of our business

If you choose to visit a third-party website, brand, or retailer through the Website or App, that third party's privacy policy and data practices will apply to your interactions with them.

Some outbound links may include affiliate tracking. This lets us receive a commission if you make a purchase through those links. As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases

5. Third-Party Services

We currently use third-party service providers for parts of our Website and App operations.

Depending on the product you use, these providers may include:
- website analytics providers
- Supabase for authentication, database services, storage, and server-side functions
- Mixpanel for App analytics
- Sentry for crash and error reporting
- RevenueCat for subscription and entitlement management
- Resend for support request email delivery
- scan processing infrastructure and API providers used to analyze submitted scan images and scan feedback

These providers may process information on our behalf subject to their own terms and privacy commitments.

6. Cookies, Analytics, and Tracking

Website
The Website may use analytics tools and similar technologies to understand traffic and improve the site.

App
The App uses analytics and crash-reporting tools to understand App usage, diagnose issues, and improve the product.

These tools may collect information such as device identifiers, usage activity, crash data, and diagnostic information.

As of the date above, session replay is disabled in the App.

We do not currently use the Website or App for third-party advertising or cross-app tracking.

7. Data Retention

We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the Website and App, maintain accounts, support business operations, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.

Retention periods vary depending on the type of information. For example:
- Website inquiries and signup records may be retained to respond to your request and maintain business records
- account and subscription records may be retained while your App account is active and for a reasonable period afterward
- photos, scan records, and related uploads may be retained until you delete them, request account deletion, or we no longer need them for the service
- support and error records may be retained for troubleshooting, security, and compliance purposes

When personal information is no longer reasonably required for these purposes, we take reasonable steps to delete, de-identify, or anonymize it.

8. Your Choices and Rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of certain information.

You may also:

- update certain information inside the App
- delete your App account using the in-app deletion flow, if available
- opt out of certain non-essential communications

When you request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify information associated with your App account in accordance with applicable law, subject to information we may retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, accounting, or other permitted business purposes.

We process verified deletion requests in accordance with applicable law, subject to legal, operational, security, and fraud-prevention requirements.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Children's Privacy

The Website and App are not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13.

11. U.S. State Privacy Rights

Residents of certain U.S. states, including California and Texas, may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws.

Subject to verification of your identity, you may have the right to:
