Here's how to swap to non-toxic face masks:
Face masks sit directly on your skin for extended periods, giving ingredients more time to absorb. Because they cover large areas of your face, the formulation matters more than with products you rinse off quickly. Welpr focuses on what the mask is made with — the base ingredients, fragrances, preservatives, and any added extras.
Check the face masks you currently own by using the Welpr Personal Care and Cosmetic Scanner. It reads your ingredient label and flags anything that doesn't meet Welpr's standards.
If you're not ready to replace a mask right away, small adjustments can help. Reducing how long the mask sits on your skin and how often you use it can lower overall exposure.
Look for face masks with simple, functional ingredient lists. Welpr approves masks that are free from harsh preservatives, parabens, phthalates, and other unnecessary additives. Certifications like EWG VERIFIED™ or MADE SAFE® are a good sign, but Welpr reviews the full formula regardless.
