Here's how to swap to non-toxic sheets:
Sheets are one of the highest-contact products in your home. You sleep on them every night, they touch a large area of bare skin for hours at a time, and your face rests directly on them. That makes the fabric and how it's made worth paying attention to.
Check the labels on your current sheets to see what they're made of. Look for the fiber content tag, which is usually sewn into the seam or along the edge of the fitted sheet.
If you're not ready to replace your sheets right away, a couple of simple steps can help reduce what you're exposed to while you sleep.
Look for sheets made from natural fibers like organic cotton, linen, hemp, or bamboo. Certifications like GOTS or OEKO-TEX® are a good sign, but Welpr also reviews the brand's transparency and sourcing practices before approving a product.
